Getting There

First, print out the map and take it with you to show the taxi driver. It has directions in Thai:

Transport from the Phuket Airport:

Public Taxi Meter:
The Taxi Meter Rank is on your right hand when you exit the building. You will pay the metered fare plus the airport surcharge.

Airport Limo Service
There are a number of companies with desks set up inside the airport building - this will be a little more expensive than the Public Taxi Meter but if there is a long wait for a taxi meter (ask at the rank) we suggest you take a limo service.

Minivan Service
Even although this service is cheaper than the Taxis, very often it get very confusing and guests end up in the wrong location. We suggest you use one of the taxi services

Car Rental
There are number of car rental companies from the airport. If you are comfortable with driving in Thailand and plan on spending time sight seeing on Phuket, this is definitely the best recommendation. You will save on taxi fares and be able to get around the Island at your own pace. However, if you do decide to rent a car please make sure they have full insurance to avoid any problems should they occur.
